Laguna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Teamgeist's Lucio Garikoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Tebaldo in the 10th minute of play. Dario Dolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Dolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Dolfo hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jaime Estebano, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Mario Cristofol came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Teamgeist fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Cristofol couldn't finish the play. After having played for 23 minutes, Baltasar Elija managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Elija was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 25th minute, Faustino Tebaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faustino Tebaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Edur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Cristofol in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Faustino Tebaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Godfredo Bieito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Antonio Edur successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Godfredo Bieito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lucio Garikoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
