Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeremias Aurre kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Aquilino Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes, Goyena's Isaias Godoy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marciano Cordarrell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goyena reached it. 8 minutes into the match, Latero's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Valerio came free, but Marciano Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Goyena's Ciro Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Lano in the 16th minute of play. Mateo Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Suarez having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Goyena got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Handi. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquilino Lano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciro Suarez. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. The supporters of Goyena booed when Latero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goyena's Ciro Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Goyena from getting a goal against them. Mateo Cesaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Cesaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Mateo Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Suarez having to interfere. If Aquilino Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Aquilino Lano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goyena's Ciro Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
Ciro Suarez came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Latero's Aquilino Lano. But to his dismay, Aquilino Lano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Flavio Santana's late challenge caught a Goyena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Santana helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Latero's Flavio Santana got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Arsenio Justin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Latero's protests and gave Arsenio Justin a yellow card for diving instead. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Jeremias Aurre took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Marciano Cordarrell to make any attempt to save it. Goyena's Jeremias Aurre got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateo Cesaro in the 88th minute of the match. Rigoberto Valerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Goyena getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Rodolfo Checa hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Latero's Raimundo Lucero tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Latero were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
