Don Torcuato FC's Severino Chorche got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Freddy Luar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Amaya. Don Torcuato FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddy Luar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Don Torcuato FC's Bruno Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Luar in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Luar to make the kick off. Don Torcuato FC's Saul Tavio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Nuxila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Chorche's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Chilcas defense, Saul Tavio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Nuxila. The Chilcas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Nuxila should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute Saul Tavio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saul Tavio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severino Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristian Nuxila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
