Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patricio Gaueko kicked off to start the match. In the 5thth minute of the game Cipriano Donostia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viña's Jaime Kusko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adan Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Kusko having to interfere. Conrado Colas hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Patricio Gaueko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cangrejillos RN9's Cipriano Donostia got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cipriano Donostia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jaime Kusko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viña's Jaime Kusko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Donostia in the 24th minute of play. If Cipriano Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Kusko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Iyan went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Viña's zone, Adan Iyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Kusko came out of the goal and Adan Iyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 played minutes Viña got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Ascencio. After having played for 43 minutes, Patricio Gaueko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Gaueko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adan Iyan was the one to do the kick off. Cangrejillos RN9's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodoro Goi in the 53rd minute. After 55 minutes, Gavino Luzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viña and the Cangrejillos RN9 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Viña got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Luzea. After 56 played minutes, Cangrejillos RN9's Teodoro Goi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Kusko came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cangrejillos RN9 reached it. After some careless play in the Cangrejillos RN9 defense, Patricio Gaueko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Etxatxu. The Cangrejillos RN9 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Etxatxu should have stopped the shot. Oscar Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Gaueko in the 72nd minute of play. If Bernabe Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Adan Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Donostia might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Kusko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Donostia ran back to his position shaking his head. Cangrejillos RN9's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
