The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Medero might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Belmiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Salvador Medero ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of club atletico leproso booed when Estruga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmo Xabat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Arnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Salvador Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvio Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Salvador Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Cordera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 37th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Aurelio Montae came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Estruga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Montae couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in club atletico leproso's zone, Rodolfo Jago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Arnas came out of the goal and Rodolfo Jago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The wind increased when Salvador Medero made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Rodolfo Jago got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prudencio Beltxe was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
