Domingo Vasco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teo Pudes's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. The supporters of Balde booed when Lozano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Duardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute Teo Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Vasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Tonete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Vasco having to interfere. Balde's Isidro Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Estavan in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Lozano AFC booed when Balde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Pudes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Balde getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Saturnino Pueblo hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Joaquin Estavan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vicente Eyague struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Isidro Venerando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lozano AFC. After 35 minutes of play, Lozano AFC's Joaquin Estavan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidro Venerando was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clodoveo Bernat charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Bernat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodoveo Bernat hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Pastor Rosario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Matias Tonete might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Vasco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Tonete ran back to his position shaking his head. After 70 played minutes Lozano AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Estavan. Domingo Vasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Tonete in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Matias Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balde's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Vasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Vicente Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Balde's goalkeeper Isidro Venerando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Eyague. If Vicente Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lozano AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
