The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Rocio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Chale was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The CaLLeJeRos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Abaunza should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Rocio made a kick off. CaLLeJeRos FC's Anibal Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Euloxu in the 53rd minute of play. If Fermin Heli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fermin Heli struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Heli in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Chale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fermin Heli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Chale having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CaLLeJeRos FC's zone, Alberto Euloxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Abaunza came out of the goal and Alberto Euloxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Flavio Astigar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Temperley 1982's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Astigar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fermin Heli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
