Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santo Asur started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Piñero's Cristobal Abilio got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Santo Asur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 9 minutes into the game, Ramon Urtsin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piquirenda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piñero the free kick. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda's Ramon Urtsin got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Piñero's Rogelio Martxelin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Tiburcio Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Senen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Santo Asur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Astor Eron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Astor Eron came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Piñero's Santo Asur. But to his dismay, Santo Asur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Senen in the 36th minute of play forced Piquirenda's goalkeeper Astor Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Matias Austin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piquirenda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piñero the free kick. Matias Austin hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Santo Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Astor Eron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Piñero were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romeo Ekhi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Santo Asur notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Piquirenda's Astor Eron. Astor Eron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santo Asur struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Astor Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñero. In the 69th minute, Tiburcio Senen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Piquirenda's goalkeeper Astor Eron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernando Pello. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santo Asur in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astor Eron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Uzuri during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arsenio Uzuri kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Piquirenda's Oscar Enaut broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 86th match minute, Piñero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Asur to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Piñero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Piquirenda.
