Silvestre Ekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Basajaun having to interfere. Carmelo Bidun was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Constantino Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinicio Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A. Alma Juniors! In the 25th minute there was a penalty for El 99 FC. Teodoro Arias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cayetano Basajaun. 0-1. Constantino Oliverios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Silvestre Ekhi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El 99 FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Ekhi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A. Alma Juniors's Cayetano Basajaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Oliverios in the 34th minute of play. Paulo Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carmelo Bidun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

El 99 FC's Mauro Farias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Bidun in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El 99 FC's Paulo Idacio got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Silvestre Ekhi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the El 99 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Ekhi couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Constantino Oliverios in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cayetano Basajaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mauro Farias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Bidun in the 84th minute of the match. Mauro Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Bidun in the 94th minute of play. Mauro Farias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Bidun's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Cayetano Basajaun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Ekhi in the 97th minute.
