Club AyD Roma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Tono was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clodoveo Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alejo Tono took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clodoveo Birjaio. Clodoveo Birjaio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Evelio Mincho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Pacorro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clodoveo Birjaio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. When Joel Pacorro came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Club AyD Roma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Pacorro couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Orlandus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evelio Mincho went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alejo Tono struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Clodoveo Birjaio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club AyD Roma. Matias Ortle kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Alejo Tono was extremely unlucky when he, in the 38th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alejo Tono came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Clodoveo Birjaio could save by the left post. Emiliano Aurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club AyD Roma's goalkeeper Alejandro Orlandus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Emiliano Aurre made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club AyD Roma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Coig a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Blas Bortzaioriz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club AyD Roma's Alejandro Orlandus. 1-2. Alejandro Orlandus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Aurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Emiliano Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clodoveo Birjaio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Alejo Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club AyD Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Tono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Birjaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
