Clodoveo Birjaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcial Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Ostargi was the one to do the kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Coig fully deserved thier win.
