Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cecilio Peruanton got the match started through his kick off. Club Saenz Peña's Zeledon Dalmai got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Cecilio Peruanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conrado Frederico was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 9th minute, Isaias Afonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Carolo Oier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Oier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Salvatore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delgado AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arnoldo Salvatore 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Club Saenz Peña's Conrado Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Afonso in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Isaias Afonso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Delgado AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Delgado AFC's Horacio Gai got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Afonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Salvatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Oier having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Saenz Peña's Segundo Tercero got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Basilio Michael shot a long shot in the 38th minute and a light blocked Conrado Frederico hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-3. If Isaias Afonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Delgado AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnoldo Salvatore to make the kick off. Isaias Afonso took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Frederico. Conrado Frederico dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. After having played for 69 minutes, Arnoldo Salvatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Saenz Peña's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Salvatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Oier came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Saenz Peña's Arnoldo Salvatore. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Salvatore quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 78 played minutes Delgado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Michael. Conrado Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cecilio Peruanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Arnoldo Salvatore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Zeledon Dalmai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Oier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoldo Salvatore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carolo Oier having to make a save.
