The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Cecilio Rocio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Ramblón AFC's Roberto Opilano tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Haroldo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Uriel Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Marz. Ramblón AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Ragamuffin Jrs's Uriel Santana in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Ramblón AFC's Roberto Opilano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Isaias Ugutz. In the 30th minute, Ramblón AFC's Haroldo Gabon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaias Ugutz. Isaias Ugutz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Uriel Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isaias Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Gabon in the 37th minute of play. Ragamuffin Jrs's Isaias Ugutz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Ragamuffin Jrs from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Haroldo Gabon to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Ragamuffin Jrs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Opilano who took care of the corner kick. Matias Orkatz charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matias Orkatz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ramblón AFC's Matias Orkatz got a free kick in the 58th minute. After some careless play in the Ragamuffin Jrs defense, Matias Orkatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Ugutz. The Ragamuffin Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Ugutz should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Ramblón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Santana came free, but Genaro Marz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matias Orkatz scored 5-1 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Ugutz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Ragamuffin Jrs defense, Matias Orkatz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaias Ugutz. The Ragamuffin Jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaias Ugutz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Santana in the 76th minute of play forced Ramblón AFC's goalkeeper Genaro Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Amadeo Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ragamuffin Jrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Cordera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ragamuffin Jrs's Amadeo Cordera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genaro Marz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Isaias Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Gabon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramblón AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
