The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gabriel Confesor the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Central Huesca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gabriel Confesor had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Central Huesca! Rodrigo Bibiano shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 11 minutes, Benigno Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Central Huesca and the Empedrado players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Central Huesca got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Emesto. After 12 played minutes, Empedrado's Rodrigo Bibiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Damian Manilan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Empedrado reached it. Patricio Porfiro scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damian Manilan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Epifanio Montrell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Damian Manilan made a huge save. 22 minutes into the game, Empedrado's Patricio Porfiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damian Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dalmacio Bartolome charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Bartolome the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Central Huesca's Dalmacio Bartolome got a free kick in the 25th minute. Dalmacio Bartolome kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. If Patricio Porfiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Epifanio Montrell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Damian Manilan. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 40th minute, Dalmacio Bartolome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Teodoro Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Txurio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fernando Bertin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damian Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Udalaitz during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Empedrado booed when Central Huesca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Rodrigo Bibiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damian Manilan skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Niceto Txurio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Central Huesca's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Txurio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodoro Otsoko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Niceto Txurio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Horacio Costante came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Central Huesca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Costante couldn't finish the play. Damian Manilan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Patricio Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Manilan having to interfere.
