Honorio Balasi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Baldomiro Abel. 30 minutes into the game, Cosme Osorio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Honorio Balasi. Cosme Osorio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Silvestre Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to CCB FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Efrain Lluques hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Silvestre Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. After some careless play in the Florentino FC defense, Silvestre Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Petrigai. The Florentino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Petrigai should have stopped the shot. Blas Gorbea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tobias Petrigai having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Silvestre Marquez made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes CCB FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Fidele. The supporters of CCB FC booed when Florentino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CCB FC's Efrain Lluques got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Silvestre Marquez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tobias Petrigai was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Benedicto Elazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Balasi. CCB FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedicto Elazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 72 minutes into the match, Florentino FC's goalkeeper Tobias Petrigai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Marquez. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Blas Gorbea managed to get in a good position for a shot. CCB FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blas Gorbea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobias Petrigai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 89 minutes of play, CCB FC's Efrain Lluques made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Petrigai was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 98th minute Cosme Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Balasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
