Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Filomeno Ourente got the match started through his kick off. Leonides Bento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Petronila AFC's zone, Filomeno Ourente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Bento came out of the goal and Filomeno Ourente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Che in the 12th minute of play. Igor Napier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marcos Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Che sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Petronila AFC's zone, Virgilio Berto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Bento came out of the goal and Virgilio Berto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Ourente in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Bento saved Petronila AFC from getting behind. Cleto Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marcos Maureo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cleto Che came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Petronila AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Che couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Virgilio Berto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute Filomeno Ourente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Ourente in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Bento saved Petronila AFC from getting behind. When Gavino Furman fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Petronila AFC's protests and gave Gavino Furman a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Petronila AFC! Virgilio Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Leonides Bento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cleto Che managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petronila AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Che was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

After 52 minutes, Virgilio Berto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Recreativo San Jorge and the Petronila AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Club Recreativo San Jorge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Berto to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Ourente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonides Bento having to make a save. Filomeno Ourente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Petronila AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gavino Furman hit a great ball. Igor Napier charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Napier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Recreativo San Jorge booed when Petronila AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petronila AFC's Leonides Bento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Ourente in the 70th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Filomeno Ourente fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leonides Bento, passed just outside the right post. Cleto Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Maureo having to interfere. Victoriano Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Niceto Danel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Maureo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cleto Che managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petronila AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Che was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Maureo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98th minute of the match Club Recreativo San Jorge got a corner. Petronila AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Feliberto Cai ran over to the corner to take the kick.
