Pedro Cugat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edelmiro Tiso having to make a save. Gogo Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Bizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Matias Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gogo Sayveon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matias Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Matias Rufio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Rufio in the 20th minute of play forced Futbol Club Barcelona's goalkeeper Gogo Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Matias Rufio came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Cobo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Rufio couldn't finish the play. Rolando Bizen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gogo Sayveon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matias Rufio's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Matias Rufio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Futbol Club Barcelona's Gogo Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Bizen in the 36th minute of play. Rolando Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Sayveon having to interfere. Futbol Club Barcelona's Gogo Sayveon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Bizen in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Matias Rufio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After having played for 64 minutes, Rolando Bizen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Bizen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Bizen got free with Gogo Sayveon in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Sayveon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Rufio in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Sayveon saved Futbol Club Barcelona from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Futbol Club Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Rufio came free, but Gogo Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Danilo Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Futbol Club Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Pedro Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Matias Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Sayveon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Bizen got free with Gogo Sayveon in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Rufio in the 92nd minute of play forced Futbol Club Barcelona's goalkeeper Gogo Sayveon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Futbol Club Barcelona succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Cobo had controlled the match.
