Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Toribio started the match with the kick off. Filomeno Selmo struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Raimundo Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mendoza AFC. After having played for 9 minutes, Filomeno Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mendoza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Selmo in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Osma FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejandro Oriche was slow to take the kick. During this time Mendoza AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Alejandro Oriche almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Osma FC's Raimundo Machado did a great save. Mendoza AFC's Tomas Toribio got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejandro Oriche kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When Esteve Iratxo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mendoza AFC's protests and gave Esteve Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Osma FC booed when Mendoza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Incendio shot from long distance in the 20th minute, but Arsenio Valerio was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Mendoza AFC's Arsenio Valerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Basajaun in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Tomas Toribio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Geleberto kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tomas Toribio might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Toribio ran back to his position shaking his head. When Filomeno Selmo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Mendoza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Selmo couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Tomas Toribio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Esteve Iratxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raimundo Machado was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Filomeno Selmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 57 minutes of play Mendoza AFC's Esteve Iratxo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Osma FC booed when Mendoza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arsenio Valerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Basajaun in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Osma FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Christian Che hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Erasmo Caradaro could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Raimundo Machado however easily saved by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, Mendoza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Basajaun came free, but Arsenio Valerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Valerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Basajaun in the 88th minute of play forced Mendoza AFC's goalkeeper Arsenio Valerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filomeno Selmo got free with Raimundo Machado in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
