Club Atletico Belgrano 's Robustiano Mattin got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Ostadar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Belgrano 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Higuerita the free kick. The supporters of Higuerita booed when Club Atletico Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Txurio in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Rami saved Club Atletico Belgrano from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Higuerita's Mario Cristofor got a free kick in the 97th minute.
