One of Cortaderas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huayna F.C:s goal. Claudio Rocendo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 18 minutes into the match, Cortaderas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Faustino Oihan came free, but Segundo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcelino Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Ponc came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Huayna F.C's Marciano Guillem. But to his dismay, Marciano Guillem quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Faustino Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Segundo Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Huayna F.C's Faustino Oihan in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cortaderas FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortaderas FC's goalkeeper Segundo Ponc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Saturnino Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Segundo Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Paulino Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruperto Quilo in the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteve Fonda in the 54th minute of play forced Huayna F.C's goalkeeper Paulino Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Urtsin's late challenge caught a Cortaderas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnino Urtsin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Huayna F.C's Saturnino Urtsin got a free kick in the 58th minute. When Cortaderas FC's Marcelino Chorche, in the 59th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cortaderas FC. Segundo Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Oihan in the 67th minute of the match. Marcelino Chorche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Paulino Oihenarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huayna F.C's Paulino Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Roderigo in the 71st minute of play. Cortaderas FC's Segundo Ponc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Cortaderas FC from getting a goal against them. Modesto Huly kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Claudio Rocendo's shot from long distance in the 82nd minute was not bad at all, but Cortaderas FC's Segundo Ponc knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Cortaderas FC's zone, Marciano Guillem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Ponc came out of the goal and Marciano Guillem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Ponc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Oihan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Martin Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustino Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Cortaderas FC's Segundo Ponc got control of the ball when Marciano Guillem tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marciano Guillem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Guillem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Segundo Ponc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Huayna F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Huayna F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
