Segundo Ponc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ruperto Quilo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th match minute, Cortaderas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Fonda to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Higuerita's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mannuel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Antonio Francesco fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Higuerita's protests and gave Antonio Francesco a yellow card for diving instead. 19 minutes into the match, Higuerita's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mannuel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Chorche. In the 20th minute, Eleuterio Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Roman Roderigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Cortaderas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Txurio came free, but Segundo Ponc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Higuerita's Mario Cristofor got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Urbano Hanni shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Mannuel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodolfo Mannuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Roderigo in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Higuerita's Mario Cristofor got a free kick in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Higuerita's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Roderigo came free, but Rodolfo Mannuel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Roderigo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Roman Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Mannuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Txurio in the 57th minute of play forced Cortaderas FC's goalkeeper Segundo Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st match minute, Higuerita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Tavio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Chorche in the 75th minute of play forced Higuerita's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mannuel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cortaderas FC's Segundo Ponc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Cortaderas FC from getting a goal against them. Higuerita's Rodolfo Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Roderigo in the 82nd minute of play. After 82 played minutes Higuerita got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Tavio. Herminio Tavio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Roman Roderigo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Rodolfo Mannuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cortaderas FC. Rodolfo Mannuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Roderigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, Higuerita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Cristofor to maneuver through the defense. Roman Roderigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Mannuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Higuerita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
