Zapata AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Merlo. the free kick. Teodosio Tabor came out of the goal and Enrique Abilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Merlo.'s Teodosio Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Florin in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Enrique Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 60thth minute of the game Fausto Totakoxe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Merlo.'s Teodosio Tabor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Deportivo Merlo.'s Manuel Kiliz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciriaco Frederik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Merlo.'s goalkeeper Teodosio Tabor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
