After having played for 53 minutes, Ermegildo Indartsu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranelagh AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Indartsu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pastor Fagondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Gerardo Arias made a huge save. Gerardo Arias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Panambí's Gerardo Arias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Panambí from getting a goal against them. Pastor Fagondo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gerardo Arias firmly grabbed it by the left post.
