Cristo Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Otsando having to interfere. The supporters of Bompland booed when Punta Alta Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Bompland's Cristo Luzaide in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Punta Alta Team's goalie prevented a goal. Punta Alta Team's Aurelio Otsando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Luzaide in the 11th minute of play. Cristo Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Ortle in the 16th minute of play forced Bompland's goalkeeper Tomás Pere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Txaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Tomás Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jesus Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Punta Alta Team's goalkeeper Aurelio Otsando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jesus Montel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Punta Alta Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Montel came free, but Aurelio Otsando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Txaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomás Pere having to make a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After having played for 55 minutes, Cristo Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bompland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Luzaide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Christian Txaran in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Cristo Luzaide came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Bompland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Luzaide couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Otsando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jesus Montel in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurelio Otsando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurelio Otsando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Luzaide in the 76th minute. If Jesus Montel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 81 played minutes Bompland got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Bastia. In the 83rd minute of the match Severiano Firman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Pere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristo Luzaide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Aurelio Otsando made a huge save. The supporters of Bompland booed when Punta Alta Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Oskarbi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Punta Alta Team fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bompland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
