In the 10th minute of the match Federico Gorbea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hilario Clementi skillfully saved the ball. Valentin Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Hilario Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Olo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Hilario Clementi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Tiniebra, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Tiniebra in the 23rd minute of play forced Def. de la Costa's goalkeeper Hilario Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Tonete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Benet in the 26th minute of the match. Hilario Clementi made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Valentin Eriz sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind river b's goalkeeper Silverio Tonete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luisito Leoiar charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Leoiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to river b getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. The wind increased when Eugenio Tiniebra made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to river b getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hugo Berto hit a great ball. Silverio Tonete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Benet in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Def. de la Costa's goalkeeper Hilario Clementi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Atilano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes river b got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Berto. When Atilano Rumaldo fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Def. de la Costa's protests and gave Atilano Rumaldo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Def. de la Costa getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Atilano Rumaldo hit a great ball. Eugenio Tiniebra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hilario Clementi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Tiniebra in the 78th minute of the match. After 84 minutes, Rafael Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Def. de la Costa and the river b players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of river b booed when Def. de la Costa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. river b's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Leo Benet 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. The river b supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Def. de la Costa's performance. The match ended with a win for Def. de la Costa.
