After some careless play in the Huascha AFC defense, Leopoldo Argi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Ongile. The Huascha AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Ongile should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute of the game, Guaberto Pabla landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 18 minutes, Maximino Sal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huascha AFC and the J.P.S players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Huascha AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Sal. Alfredo Ioritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Stephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Huascha AFC's Gustavo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Sanson in the 28th minute of play. Flavio Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ioritz having to interfere. J.P.S's Alfredo Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Stephen in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Flavio Pueblo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind J.P.S's goalkeeper Alfredo Ioritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rodrigo Stephen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, J.P.S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Taurino to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Stephen made a kick off. Danilo Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Ongile having to interfere. Maximino Sal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huascha AFC's goalkeeper Gustavo Ongile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Leopoldo Argi managed to get in a good position for a shot. J.P.S's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Argi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Ongile breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, J.P.S's Leopoldo Argi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Ongile. Gustavo Ongile yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 72nd match minute, J.P.S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Taurino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Stephen in the 75th minute of play forced J.P.S's goalkeeper Alfredo Ioritz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes Huascha AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Garikoitz. Lorenzo Gumaro, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rolando Bazkoare's late challenge caught a J.P.S's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rolando Bazkoare helped the player get up and apologised. Rolando Bazkoare kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Leopoldo Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Ongile having to interfere. Rodrigo Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Alfredo Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Stephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Ioritz having to interfere. In the 94th play minute Leopoldo Argi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gustavo Ongile. 0-3.
