Maximiliano Ted's late challenge caught a Luro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Ted helped the player get up and apologised. Christian Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Juan Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luro's Haroldo Pacorro got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, La Zeideneta Mecanica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Romildo to maneuver through the defense. Juan Nicholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Urdin's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Christian Bertran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Faustino Gelacio charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Gelacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Faustino Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 25 played minutes Luro got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Pacorro. 26 minutes into the match, La Zeideneta Mecanica's Christian Bernabel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of La Zeideneta Mecanica booed when Luro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregorio Marko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Justin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the match, Luro's goalkeeper Gregorio Marko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christian Gamus. Flavio Justin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregorio Marko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Christian Gamus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregorio Marko. Luro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Gamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gregorio Marko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Justin in the 39th minute of play. Luro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Christian Gamus scored to the left of an out of position Gregorio Marko, making the score, 2-0. Gregorio Marko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Gamus in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flavio Justin to strike the kick off in the second half. When Christian Bertran came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Luro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Bertran couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Flavio Justin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Marko was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Juan Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Urdin in the 57th minute. Luro's Gregorio Marko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Gamus in the 61st minute of play. Flavio Justin took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Marko. Gregorio Marko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 68 minutes, Christian Bertran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Bertran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Luro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Costante to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Santikurtz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Christian Bertran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Nicholas having to interfere. After 88 played minutes La Zeideneta Mecanica got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Joachim. Ricardo Urdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Juan Nicholas made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ricardo Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Zeideneta Mecanica fans cheered their team off the field, for while Luro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
