Hilario Lordi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Ritchie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Anacleto Lauaxeta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Encrucijadas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Pacho came free, but Anacleto Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Bertol hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honorio Neron got free with Anacleto Lauaxeta in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Florentino Egun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, GAP futbol club's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Egun came free, but Hilario Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Encrucijadas AFC's Hilario Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilario Lordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Anacleto Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Neron, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as GAP futbol club's Alonzo Pacho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anacleto Lauaxeta. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. In the 47th minute, Florentino Egun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
