After 8 played minutes ROMA FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Gaueko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Estebe in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Ordono saved C.A. Central Norte from getting behind. The supporters of ROMA FC booed when C.A. Central Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Eudoxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes, Benjamin Erroman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A. Central Norte and the ROMA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ROMA FC booed when C.A. Central Norte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ariel Dominguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ariel Dominguez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Central Norte's Omar Clementi. But to his dismay, Omar Clementi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Central Norte's zone, Emilio Estebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Ordono came out of the goal and Emilio Estebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ROMA FC's Ariel Dominguez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save ROMA FC from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Martin Jerano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Veronica who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Dominguez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fidel Gaueko kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Lorenzo Veronica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Ordono having to interfere. Omar Clementi in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Dominguez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. During the 47th minute of the match Benjamin Erroman completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benjamin Erroman a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Estebe made a kick off. Rigoberto Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tadeo Ordono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
