Mauro Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 7 minutes, Teodoro Ieltxu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TERREMOTO and the Club Atletico Lanus players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th match minute, TERREMOTO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Ieltxu to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's Herminio Berriotxoa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Zeledon Guillen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Cordera was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Zeledon Guillen, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Justo Cordera was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 17 played minutes Club Atletico Lanus got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Fiz. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Guillen came free, but Justo Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Cordareo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Justo Cordera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TERREMOTO. Justo Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Laureano Selmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jimeno Romildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when TERREMOTO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Kismi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Mauro Hermon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TERREMOTO's Jimeno Romildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Justo Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Cordareo in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Mauro Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Selmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Cordareo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Cordera having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Zeledon Guillen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Cordera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the TERREMOTO defense, Mauro Hermon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jimeno Romildo. The TERREMOTO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jimeno Romildo should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Zeledon Guillen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Justo Cordera. The goal made the score 1-1. The TERREMOTO players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Club Atletico Lanus from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
