An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Abella in the 12th minute of play forced Granate MDP's goalkeeper Fermin Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Abella came free in the 16th minute and tried to tip the ball over Fermin Manex, but to the joy of Granate MDP's supporters the ball went over. In the 19th minute Miguel Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Manex saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Ruperto Fernandez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fermin Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Abella in the 28th minute of play. Guiñazú's Benjamin Amaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Demesio in the 32nd minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. When Guillermo Demesio came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Granate MDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Demesio couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Ruperto Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Amaya having to interfere. When Guillermo Demesio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Granate MDP fans jumped to their feet. In the 68th minute, Miguel Abella got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Ruperto Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miguel Abella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Guiñazú were the better team. Guiñazú's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
