A long shot from Feliberto Veto in the 12th minute of play was well struck, but Teodosio Gonsalve made a really good save at the right post. 12 minutes into the game, Ramon Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loventué's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colegiales the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Loventué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Bento to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Gonsalve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Patxi in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Baltasar Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Gonsalve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Jenaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teodosio Gonsalve having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Jenaro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Colegiales's Camilo Jenaro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loventué's Felipe Silvino got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Adrian Tome hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loventué's Teodosio Gonsalve proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Loventué from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Colegiales booed when Loventué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Firmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Silvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Camilo Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teodosio Gonsalve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Colegiales's Eleuterio Jago got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Patxi in the 69th minute of play forced Loventué's goalkeeper Teodosio Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Patricio Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Patxi in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Loventué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Bento to maneuver through the defense. Camilo Jenaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Patxi in the 86th minute of the match. If Jonas Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
