Humberto Uzuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ceferino Gitano made a huge save. 13 minutes into the game, Oasis's Humberto Uzuri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Gitano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Humberto Uzuri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Ceferino Gitano made a huge save. Gaston Romildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Paolo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oasis's Humberto Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ceferino Gitano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Leoncio in the 35th minute of the match. Ceferino Gitano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Leoncio's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Oasis's Paolo Valente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Romildo in the 44th minute of play. After some careless play in the Oasis defense, Anibal Maldonado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paolo Valente. The Oasis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Valente should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gaston Romildo to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Oasis's goalkeeper Paolo Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Oton. Gaston Romildo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paolo Valente came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaston Romildo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 54th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Gaston Romildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Romildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Gaston Romildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anibal Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Paolo Valente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Oasis's Paolo Valente got control of the ball when Anibal Maldonado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Santiago Leoncio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Gitano having to make a save. After having played for 67 minutes, Santiago Leoncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oasis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Leoncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute Santiago Leoncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gitano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Oasis's goalkeeper Paolo Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Maldonado. If Humberto Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Gitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, one of Tala:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
