Clemente Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jacobo Ur fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cavanagh's protests and gave Jacobo Ur a yellow card for diving instead. Jacobo Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Primitivo Caton was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Jesus Sengrat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jesus Sengrat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Clemente Tabby struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Luis Naelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suda BC. Eusebio Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Naelio having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Clemente Tabby who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cavanagh's Luis Naelio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nicasio Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicasio Bazkoare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Primitivo Caton made a huge save. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavanagh's goalkeeper Luis Naelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eusebio Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luis Naelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Clemente Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suda BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Tabby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luis Naelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Clemente Tabby made the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Naelio having to interfere. Luis Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fernan Bizen's late challenge caught a Suda BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernan Bizen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Cavanagh's Fernan Bizen got a free kick in the 56th minute. Cavanagh's Luis Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Tabby in the 61st minute of play. Primitivo Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Sengrat in the 63rd minute of the match. Nicasio Bazkoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Caton having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Cavanagh's goalkeeper Luis Naelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusebio Sal. Primitivo Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Bazkoare, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavanagh's goalkeeper Luis Naelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 81 played minutes Cavanagh got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Sazon. Jesus Sengrat might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Primitivo Caton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jesus Sengrat ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Tabby kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luis Naelio. That made the score 1-1 in the 95 minute of play.
