The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oscar Bibiano during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oscar Bibiano hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Chorrillos's Rene Ospin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Xacintu in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Chorrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Xacintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Ospin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Marcelino Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Ospin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horquilla's Rogelio Xacintu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelino Nalo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Chorrillos getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jonatan Rainerio hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Marcelino Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Ospin was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Rogelio Xacintu took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Ospin. Rene Ospin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 89th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. 97 minutes into the match, Rogelio Xacintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Ospin. Chorrillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Xacintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Horquilla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
