Mauricio Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Mon having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Sportivo Carpenari's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Chesus came free, but Silverio Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alejo Orain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alejandro Mon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Niceto Matthew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 23rd minute of the match, Alejo Orain tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alejandro Mon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sportivo Carpenari's Silverio Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Jerold in the 27th minute of play. Marcial Jerold took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Nofre. Silverio Nofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th match minute, Sportivo Carpenari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. If Niceto Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cano's Alejandro Mon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cano from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niceto Matthew to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Cano:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sportivo Carpenari:s goal. Alejo Orain scored 2-2 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Mon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cano's Alejandro Mon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Ritchie in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cano's Marcial Firmin got a free kick in the 65th minute. A collision led to Cano getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Marcial Firmin hit a great ball. When Alejo Orain came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Sportivo Carpenari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Orain couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cano's goalkeeper Alejandro Mon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Cano's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Orain came free, but Alejandro Mon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Sportivo Carpenari's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Matthew came free, but Silverio Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Cano's Niceto Matthew sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Nofre narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
