The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Severiano Iztal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ermegildo Geleberto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Arnulfo Guillelme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Guillelme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Geleberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Nuno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ermegildo Geleberto. Correntoso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Correntoso FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aaron Gudesteo hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Elvio Paskal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victoriano Peruxu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Aristides Terciero sent off a good shot on target. Yoca's Victoriano Peruxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Yoca from getting a goal against them. Ermegildo Geleberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Iztal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lázaro Derwin fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yoca's protests and gave Lázaro Derwin a yellow card for diving instead. Yoca's Victoriano Peruxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Yoca from getting a goal against them. After 43 played minutes Yoca got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Vistruario. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elvio Paskal to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Correntoso FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Severiano Iztal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnulfo Guillelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Geleberto having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Elvio Paskal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Yoca's Victoriano Peruxu. Victoriano Peruxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Arnulfo Guillelme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Severiano Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 played minutes, Yoca's Fabian Nuno shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Geleberto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yoca reached it. The audience was convinced that Elvio Paskal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Peruxu was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Elvio Paskal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Paskal in the 82nd minute of play forced Yoca's goalkeeper Victoriano Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Iztal in the 95th minute of play forced Correntoso FC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Geleberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
