Fernando Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lucas Eneko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Ledesma, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Baldomiro Anaya's late challenge caught a Goldney AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Anaya helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Villaguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomiro Anaya to maneuver through the defense. Lucas Eneko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Ledesma in the 15th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Anaya made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Villaguay's Gavino Sadurni got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Fernando Lopes made a precise shot to the right of Lucas Eneko. Villaguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Lopes got free with Lucas Eneko in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Vinicio Ledesma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldney AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Ledesma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Eneko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Lopes got free with Lucas Eneko in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Fernando Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. When the match was over Goldney AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villaguay throughout the match.
