Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dionisio Bibiano started the match with the kick off. Ricardo Xacintu hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Marcos Gai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Xacintu in the 9th minute of the match. Sebastian Santos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Marcos Gai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Bibiano in the 14th minute of play. If Clodoveo Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Mannie scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Ferran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Severo Mannie came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Defensores de Alberdi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Mannie couldn't finish the play. Marcos Gai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Dionisio Bibiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Gai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Alberdi's Gogo Marquez got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Dionisio Bibiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Gai was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Costante to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Ricardo Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores de Alberdi the free kick. In the 52nd minute, Ricardo Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes, Marciano Tano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabay and the Defensores de Alberdi players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Severo Mannie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eustacio Ferran was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tabay fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Defensores de Alberdi a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Justo Frederik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tabay's Eustacio Ferran. 2-1. A collision led to Tabay getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Eleuterio Poz hit a great ball. Dionisio Bibiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marcos Gai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severo Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severo Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Ferran having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Clodoveo Costante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tabay's Eustacio Ferran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Bibiano in the 98th minute of play forced Defensores de Alberdi's goalkeeper Marcos Gai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Defensores de Alberdi fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tabay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
