In the 26th minute Teo Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Gaskon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 30 minutes on the clock, Ildefonso Lobo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Armando Dolfo struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ignacio Txanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alpachiri.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Distiratsu made a kick off. Teo Eli was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Christian Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teo Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 minutes, Teofilo Telesforo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alpachiri and the Boca Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Alpachiri got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Telesforo. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Marcial Checa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpachiri's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Checa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ignacio Txanton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 72 played minutes Alpachiri got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Jaunti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Dolfo in the 83rd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Ignacio Txanton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Eli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Christian Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Boca Juniors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
