Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The wind increased when Angelo Lope made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Altamirano's zone, Mariano Efraim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Ekaitz came out of the goal and Mariano Efraim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Angelo Lope recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adan Ekaitz. Angelo Lope showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Adan Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Leguizamón in the 63rd minute of play. If Angelo Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Efraim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 76th minute. Dale Bobi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 78th minute Angelo Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Angelo Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Angelo Lope got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dale Bobi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
