The supporters of Assunta booed when Millán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Lixandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Juan Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Millán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Sein to maneuver through the defense. Hilario Aragones made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Froila in the 17th minute of play. Roque Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Baristo having to interfere. Juan Egoi struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Niceto Baristo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Assunta. In the 26th minute, Roque Valentine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niceto Baristo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hilario Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidio Froila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Aragones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Sein showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. Millán's Niceto Baristo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Valentine in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Egoi was the one to do the kick off. Assunta's Hilario Aragones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Froila in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Assunta defense, Roman Sein kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilario Aragones. The Assunta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilario Aragones should have stopped the shot. If Roman Sein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Gonsalve during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Millán getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ivan Gonsalve hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Carmelo Gerazan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Millán's Niceto Baristo didn't even have to move. After recieving a nice pass, Millán's Julio Teofilio tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Millán booed when Assunta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Sandaili didn't get a good kick on the ball.
