Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Gasteiz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Faro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jorge Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Pitin made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Jorge Maurin sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Taquimilán FC booed when Manantiales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Urbes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Jorge Maurin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taquimilán FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manantiales the free kick. After a rather tough play, Taquimilán FC's Jorge Maurin got a free kick in the 40th minute. When Simon Raymundo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Manantiales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Raymundo couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Igon was the one to do the kick off. Manantiales were furious when Amadeo Llorian was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manantiales! Celestino Itzaina charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celestino Itzaina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Manantiales's Celestino Itzaina got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Igon in the 72nd minute of play forced Manantiales's goalkeeper Saverio Pitin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Pitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Igon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Taquimilán FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Prospero Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manantiales's Gaudencio Gasteiz pulled a muscle in his back after 88 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Rogelio Emeterio kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Taquimilán FC's Pedro Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Urbes in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Jorge Maurin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Pitin. Manantiales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Maurin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Many of Manantiales's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Manantiales may have spent more time on the ball, but Taquimilán FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
