Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Forjador de Campeones's Santos Dominguez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Xabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Diadema's defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Sixto Nuñez scored to the left of an out of position Diego Xabel, making the score, 2-0. Cristobal Domenec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Calixto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Telesforo in the 13th minute of the match. When Jairo Telesforo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Diadema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Telesforo couldn't finish the play. Jairo Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ciriaco Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Telesforo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Forjador de Campeones booed when Diadema was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Xabel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ceferino Joachim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Sidoro in the 31st minute of play forced Forjador de Campeones's goalkeeper Ciriaco Calixto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jairo Telesforo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Diadema's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Telesforo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Calixto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Telesforo in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciriaco Calixto saved Forjador de Campeones from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Diadema's zone, Sixto Nuñez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Xabel came out of the goal and Sixto Nuñez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristobal Domenec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ciriaco Calixto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Bero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jairo Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Calixto having to interfere. Diadema's Jairo Telesforo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Telesforo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ciriaco Calixto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Diadema. When Severo Sidoro came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Diadema fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Sidoro couldn't finish the play. Forjador de Campeones's Ciriaco Calixto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Domenec in the 76th minute of play. Jairo Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Calixto having to interfere. In the 79th minute Sixto Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Telesforo got free with Ciriaco Calixto in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciriaco Calixto made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jairo Telesforo sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Donato Bero made a precise shot to the right of Diego Xabel. Diadema's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Forjador de Campeones's Nicasio Pedroso got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Diadema's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Dominguez came free, but Diego Xabel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Forjador de Campeones players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
