The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Calderón FC's Arnoldo Favila got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Aquilino Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Liberto went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eleuterio Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Jax's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Aquilino Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Jax in the 16th minute of play forced Calderón FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Godfredo Cordareo struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Eleuterio Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pintos AFC. A collision led to Calderón FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Matias Osoitz hit a great ball. Erubiel Jax struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. After some careless play in the Calderón FC defense, Godfredo Cordareo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Cortez. The Calderón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Cortez should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Calderón FC booed when Pintos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Joey came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Calderón FC's Nicasio Liberto. But to his dismay, Nicasio Liberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aquilino Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Liberto in the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Liberto was the one to do the kick off. The Calderón FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Calderón FC's Nicasio Liberto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnoldo Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Aquilino Joey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nicasio Liberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Pintos AFC's goalkeeper Aquilino Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Favila. Eleuterio Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Cordareo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 86 minutes into the match, Pintos AFC's goalkeeper Aquilino Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Favila. Aquilino Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Liberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calderón FC's zone, Godfredo Cordareo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Cortez came out of the goal and Godfredo Cordareo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godfredo Cordareo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pintos AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Calderón FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Calderón FC.
