Rodolfo Roano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Naelio in the 13th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Luisito Xabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mugueta and the Ramblones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelino Tanio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Teo Ponciano charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Ponciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Mugueta got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Abel. If Cesar Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Ramblones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Tanio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Cuartio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zeledon Cuartio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcelino Tanio's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Teo Ponciano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Emilio Etxepare took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Roano. Ramblones FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
