Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiburcio Pueblo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raul Lorenz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Virgilio Aguirre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Sportivo Piazza booed when Escobar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Dominic didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Raul Lorenz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Aguirre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Virgilio Aguirre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Lorenz in the 13th minute. When Saverio Nikola came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Escobar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saverio Nikola couldn't finish the play. Virgilio Aguirre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Lorenz in the 18th minute. Virgilio Aguirre had great luck who in the 21stth minute grab hold of the ball when Saverio Nikola from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Vladimiro Udalaitz hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Virgilio Aguirre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Lorenz in the 23rd minute. Maximino Argenis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Danel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Raul Lorenz came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Escobar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Lorenz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Nikola in the 30th minute of play forced Sportivo Piazza's goalkeeper Virgilio Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Tiburcio Pueblo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Piazza's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Pueblo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Argenis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rdth minute of the game Modesto Danel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escobar AFC's Maximino Argenis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saverio Nikola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Raul Lorenz took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Aguirre. Virgilio Aguirre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, Sportivo Piazza's goalkeeper Virgilio Aguirre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Lorenz. Escobar AFC's Raul Lorenz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Nikola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sportivo Piazza getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gerardo Vasco hit a great ball. Virgilio Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Nikola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Lorenz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes, Sportivo Piazza's Esteve Tirso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximino Argenis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sportivo Piazza reached it. A collision led to Escobar AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ricardo Formerio hit a great ball. Maximino Argenis was a little too slow when Tiburcio Pueblo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 2-1. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Piazza's Modesto Aguilera got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Lucas Viator sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sportivo Piazza's Virgilio Aguirre didn't even have to move. In the 94th minute Saverio Nikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Aguirre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Escobar AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sportivo Piazza for a fine match.
