The wind increased when Osvaldo Rojelio made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Romeo Itzaina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gándara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 56 minutes, Tiburcio Baudelio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campos and the Gándara players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Campos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gándara:s goal. When the match had been going on for 58 minutes, Gándara's Bernabe Lop got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jairo Hartz. When Osvaldo Rojelio came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Campos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Rojelio couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Igor Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gándara's Igor Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Rojelio in the 71st minute of play. When Justino Veremundo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Campos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Veremundo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Campos's zone, Erubiel Montel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Hartz came out of the goal and Erubiel Montel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erubiel Montel struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jairo Hartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gándara. The supporters of Gándara booed when Campos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Berenguer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Hartz made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Romeo Itzaina sent off a good shot on target. The Campos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gándara's performance. The match ended with a win for Gándara.
