Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Iyan made the kick off and thus started the match. Flavio Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Iyan in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Emiliano Ikatz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Joel Martxot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Municipal's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Martxot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Telo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Telo having to interfere. The supporters of Sportivo Municipal booed when Arauco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Charro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emiliano Ikatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Martxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Telo having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Sportivo Municipal got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Bernebe. In the 31st minute of the match Federico Charro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Pelayo skillfully saved the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Emiliano Ikatz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Arauco's Clodoveo Telo. Clodoveo Telo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Iyan in the 43rd minute of play. Miguel Iyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Martxot was the one to do the kick off. Joel Martxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Clodoveo Telo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arauco's Clodoveo Telo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Martxot in the 58th minute of play. After 72 minutes, Jonathan Quilo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arauco and the Sportivo Municipal players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arauco getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jonathan Quilo hit a great ball. Ermegildo Jerano kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Emiliano Ikatz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clodoveo Telo having to make a save. In the 87th minute, Nicasio Fresco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arauco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Miguel Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sportivo Municipal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
