Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paolo Efraim started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Domingos Ferman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zavalla FC and the Salcedo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Domingos Ferman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Segundo Neron charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Neron the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Salcedo FC's Segundo Neron got a free kick in the 10th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Salcedo FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Basualdo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnaldo Itzaina. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Arnaldo Itzaina took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcelino Basualdo to make any attempt to save it. Carlos Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teofilo Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Esteban Bingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Basualdo having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, Zavalla FC's Eduardo Gorbea made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Basualdo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Maiorga in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Bingen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Maiorga in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Bingen saved Zavalla FC from getting behind. Zavalla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evaristo Ofelio in the 49th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Francis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paolo Efraim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Basualdo having to interfere. Segundo Neron hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Itzaina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelino Basualdo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Itzaina, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Domingos Ferman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zavalla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Ferman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Basualdo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Segundo Neron fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Bingen having to interfere. Carlos Maiorga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Bingen having to interfere.
